Thank You for over $15,500 in donations!
Thank you to Husky Shows, GP Development, and all of our supporters
who helped us raise more than $15,500!
We are so grateful for all of the support we received on Saturday and cannot thank those who made donations enough! Although we did not hit our goal of $20,000, we are so excited that the $15,580 we raised will allow us to continue our work expanding the Music & Memory program in the Sacramento region, as well as provide Music Partners in Healthcare funding for a Certified Music Practitioner, (CMP), for an entire year.
We could not have done it without you!
Where did the TunesWork funds from this show go?
Through the support we receive at the West Coast Jam, TunesWork will provide funding to place at least one Music & Memory program in a local facility. In doing so, the the lives of those suffering from Alzheimer’s in our community will be greatly enhanced. This program delivers personalized music on audio players that provide comfort and enable anti-psychotic medications to be reduced. The result is a new sense of aliveness.
TunesWork will also provide funds to the non-profit, Music Partners in Healthcare, in support of their mission to provide customized therapeutic music within the Sacramento healthcare community. Funding enables Certified Music Practitioners (CMPs) to create supportive environments for healing and for life to death transitions within organizations that require funding for their services. CMPs are specifically trained to provide live, therapeutic music.
